Saree-gama mudra ethnic

This is my review & saree-gama style attempts of this beautiful “Soft lichi saree” which has a fantastic contrast colour combination and a royal chariot pattern all over. The work is called as ‘Jacquard work’ extremely elegant and as their name mentions “ethnic” this is a perfect royal ethnic saree. The pallu has a rich silk work and hence it was lovely to try some grand draping styles.

  1. The traditional drape with puff sleeve blouse : Considering the beautiful Colors in the saree, the multicolored puff sleeve blouse is a perfect combination which also goes very well with a jhumka and temple set jewellery. It feels like being part of a poem to get this perfect look here. Have a rich kajal and thilak bindi to sharpen the looks.

2. The Gujarati drape : The royal pallu of this saree is a perfect choice for this drape and you can match it with simple accessories and a hip chain will add radiance too. I am wearing the self design closed neck piece. A simple hairstyle with an elegant clutch pin would be awesome. Overall, this is a perfect choice for festive occasions .

3. A contemporary attempt : There are occasions like attending a literature club or some casual events and this saree is no less suitable for those occasions. A small trick of draping the saree reverse ( pallu to be tuck inside so that there is less of ethnic look and more of contemporary ones) . The end of saree is a plain one which is just apt for the contemporary look. I have 2 choices of blouse, a shirt which has a dark contrast colour / a half white sandal top which goes well. Black or oxidised silver , metal accessories will lower the golden in the looks adding the blend required.

4. Royal open pleats :

If you want to be the most noticed one in a function or would like to spread that lovely grace across the crowd, this is such a refreshing and royal look. I tried this look with black boatneck blouse with red work on it. Used the black long neck chain and a little glitter lipstick.

So, these are some easy and unique drapes using this lichi saree of Mudra ethnic collections. Do visit their Insta page here :
